Here are some of the Meccano models which I have made. If you are interested in better photos of any of the models or would like any further information please email me.
BALL BEARING CLOCK This clock displays the time by the number of ball bearings on the balances. A ball bearing comes out of the top every 15 seconds and goes onto the top balance. Every minute this balance overbalances and one ball goes down to the next balance and the rest go down to the bottom. The other balances overbalance every 5 minutes, 1 hour and 12 hours respectively. The clock is driven by a synchronous motor. This is a very good exhibition model.
It is based on the model shown in Constructor Quarterly issue 22 but I added an extra balance at the top to provide more interest at exhibitions. Click here for more pictures of the Ball Bearing Clock. (Bigger and better pictures are also available as a downloadable ZIP file)

BRAIDING MACHINE Whilst looking similar to the braiding machine in the 1966 Meccano Magazine the operating mechanism has been extensively redesigned as the original proved to be very unreliable. This model has proved to be very reliable in exhibitions and can run all day without a problem when properly set up (apart from reloading the bobbins).

BULLDOZER This bulldozer is based on the famous Eric Taylor tractor unit. I have added a working bulldozer blade together with a winch and a power take off drive.
